Native SCORM and xAPI Playback

Deploy existing vendor-supplied course packages. No re-authoring or conversion required — the platform simply reads the package's native data and maintains the records.

SCORM 1.2

Upload the package and it behaves as its author intended.

Tracked from the package's own data model

Upon package upload, the platform tracks lesson status, scores, and time directly from the course's internal data model, ensuring completion criteria align exactly with the author's intent.

Bookmarking and resume

A learner who closes the course mid-way returns to the slide they left, because the package's own suspend data and lesson location are preserved between sessions.

Scores that reach the record

Quiz results reported by the package land on the learner's record alongside platform-native assessments, so one report covers both.

xAPI

Activity as it happens, not at the end.

Real-time activity statements

Real-time activity statements are recorded directly against the learner as they happen, with launch details securely resolved internally by the platform rather than exposed in a standard link.

Finer-grained than pass or fail

Where a package reports interaction-level activity, that detail is kept — useful when you need to know which part of a course people struggle with rather than only who finished it.

How packages run

Uploaded content is treated as untrusted by design.

Served from a separate origin

A package is author-supplied code, so it never runs on the application's own origin. It plays in an isolated sandbox that cannot reach the session or the credentials behind it.

More on security

Only progress crosses back

The one thing that leaves the sandbox is the learner's progress: status, score, time and activity. Nothing else is exposed in either direction.

Documents alongside packages

Policies, handbooks and forms are distributed and acknowledged through the same assignment mechanism, so a single record covers courses and documents.

Out as well as in

Nothing you build here is trapped here.

Export as a SCORM 1.2 package

Courses generated in Studio download as a conformant SCORM 1.2 package that imports into any other LMS — with bookmarking, learner name, completion and quiz scores intact.

See Studio

Works without a network

Fonts and assets are embedded in the exported package, so it renders identically wherever it is hosted.

How it is kept safe

Authentication, isolation and recovery are handled at the platform level rather than left to each organization to configure.
